What is Student Support Services
Student Support Services (SSS) is a program that provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and serves to motivate students towards the successful completion of their post-secondary education. SSS is funded by the U.S. Department of Education to increase college retention and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next. Students can apply to become a participant at any point in their undergraduate career and at any point in the semester. Participation in the program is on a first-come first-served basis. Grant aid scholarships are also available to those participants who are receiving Federal Pell Grants.
The office of Student Support Services is located in Old Main, room 309.
